Keep-Going Guarantee
Keep-Going Guarantee: your student meets the Algebra 1 requirement or raises their grade one letter, or I keep tutoring free. Conditions apply, see link.
Keep-Going Guarantee. If your student attends every scheduled session (sessions I cancel or move do not count against your student) and completes at least 80% of the assigned practice, and either (a) does not meet the Algebra 1 assessment requirement in the Nov 30 to Dec 18, 2026 window (the FLDOE passing score, including the alternate passing score of 398 where it applies, or an FLDOE comparative score) or (b) for a student who had a C or below in Algebra 1 at sign-up and enrolled at least 4 weeks before Dec 18, 2026, does not raise the Algebra 1 Q2 grade by at least one letter, I will keep tutoring at no charge, up to 6 additional 45-minute sessions, used within 8 weeks of the score or Q2 grade. This is not a refund and not a promise of a score or grade. It is free additional tutoring under the conditions above. Ask for it within 14 days of receiving the score or the Q2 grade.
What this means in plain terms
- The trigger is "meets the Algebra 1 requirement", never "pass" or a raw 400. Some students qualify with the FLDOE alternate score of 398 (https://www.fldoe.org/file/7764/GradRequireFSA.pdf).
- It applies to Algebra 1 Rescue ($229). It does not cover the $25 trial session or single sessions.
- "Meets the requirement" includes the routes FLDOE allows instead of the EOC (FLDOE Table 4, https://www.fldoe.org/file/7764, memo DPS-2025-66). For students who entered grade 9 in 2023-24 or later: SAT Math 420, PSAT/NMSQT Math 430, PSAT 10 Math 430, ACT Math 16, PreACT Secure Math 16, CLT 14, or Geometry EOC Level 3. Or CLT 11 for students who entered grade 9 in 2020-21 to 2022-23 (that group also has SAT 420, PSAT/NMSQT 430, ACT 16, or Geometry EOC Level 3). If your student meets it any of these ways, that counts as success, and I'll help you check each route.
- The grade part applies only to students at a C or below when they sign up, with at least 4 weeks to go before Dec 18.
- Practice completion appears in your Friday update, so you can track it.
